About me

My name is Sönke Vogelsberg. As a passionate trumpet player, I perform in a wide variety of musical ensembles. I feel just as comfortable in a brass ensemble as I do in a symphony orchestra. As a trained brass instrument maker, I regularly study the (acoustic) theory behind instruments.

About SV Mutes

My goal is to offer a constantly growing range of mutes and other accessories for brass instruments with the SV Mutes products. I use environmentally friendly plastic made from corn starch. I source the natural cork from a German company. This company, as an inclusive company, has made it its mission to employ people who have difficulty gaining a foothold in the job market due to mental illness.
